it is not 2012 that was cursed to be a doomed year. we had seen this before in 1999. Y2K was supposed to shut down critical systems that would result in nuclear meltdown, financial disaster etc..
12 years later we know what truth is. Y2K ushered a great opportunity for indians and even a BSc (CS) in those days could get a handsome package and job in USA..the education industry boomed back here and now its feared that BE will be the next BA creating hi tech clerks.
challenges lay ahead of us. 2012 is just another start. make the best out of it.

Tsung is an open-source multi-protocol distributed load testing tool
It can be used to stress HTTP, WebDAV, SOAP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, LDAP and Jabber/XMPP servers. Tsung is a free software released under the GPLv2 license.
The purpose of Tsung is to simulate users in order to test the scalability and performance of IP based client/server applications. You can use it to do load and stress testing of your servers.
Many protocols have been implemented and tested, and it can be easily extended.
